On the morning of January 28, the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter organized the opening of cultural activities with the theme "Vietnamese New Year - "Tet Pho" 2024".

 

Highlights of the program, the Management Board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter coordinated with cultural researchers to organize simulations of traditional rituals, such as: The procession to offer offerings at the communal house, and the Thanh Hoang proclamation ceremony. and worshiping the Craft Ancestor, Neu tree erection ceremony...

Those participating in the procession all wear the traditional  "Ao dai" , in which the person performing the ceremony . The ancient traditional costumes are selected with vibrant colors and meticulous patterns to clearly and most impressively recreate the ancient Tet scene in the hearts of Vietnamese people.
 
 
Along with traditional rituals, the "Vietnamese New Year - "Tet Pho" program also has many attractive artistic performances.
 
The procession to offer offerings at the communal house starts from the heritage house at 87 Ma May, passes through Dao Duy Tu street - Quan Chuong gate - Hang Chieu - Hang Giay - Bach Ma temple - Hang Buom - Ta Hien - Hang Bac - Kim Ngan

Many people, including international tourists, are very happy and excited to experience the ancient Tet rituals of the Vietnamese people.
 
Wherever the procession went, people in the Old Quarter and tourists took to the streets, excitedly watching and taking photos. The joy and bustle of music along with costumes as bright as butterfly wings brought a bustling, bustling spring atmosphere to the heart of the Capital.
 
 

 

Activities will start from the morning of January 28 and end after Lunar New Year. Many activities are organized during the Lunar New Year to serve the needs of people and tourists.
