The best time to travel to Binh Thuan ( Bình Thuận):

 

Binh Thuan is an ideal destination for visitors to travel all year round. To determine when is the best time to travel Binh Thuan, it is much dependent on your travel plan and activities in its. Binh Thuan climate is divided into two distinct season: Rainy season ( From June to October) and Dry season ( From November to May next year)

How to get to Binh Thuan:

 

 Airplane

 

There is no non-stop flight to move from Hanoi or HCM city to Binh Thuan. Visitors can take plane to Cam Ranh ( Nha Trang ) airplane, then get coach to visit Binh Thuan.

 

+ Hanoi (Hà Nội): Visitors take plane to Tan Son Nhat (Tân Sơn Nhất) airport in HCM city or Cam Ranh airport in Nha Trang then get coach or train to visit Binh Thuan.

 

+  HoChiMinh city:  Visitors take plane to Cam Ranh airport in Nha Trang then get coach to visit Binh Thuan.

 

Train

 

Train is a safe and interesting way to move to Binh Thuan.

 

+ Hanoi (Hà Nội): Visitors can take trains such as: Ship SE1, SE3, SE5, SE7, TN1, SPT1, PT3, all of these routes stop at  Binh Thuan station. Visitors can buy tickets at Hanoi Train station.

 

+ HoChiMing city: Visitors can buy tickets at Sai Gon station. 

 

Coach

1. Poshanư Tower

 

Poshanu Cham Tower is far about 7km from Phan Thiet city is situated on Ong Hoang Hill, Phu Hai district, Phan Thiet. This is the only architectural vestiges of Cham community that still exists in Vietnam. Po Shanu Cham Towers comprise three ancient worship towers dedicated to Hindu deities Lord Shiva, Agni and Nandi . Usually, the local fishermen come here to pray the Gods for a safe process of fishing and a big catch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Cu Lao Cau ( Cau Islet)

 

Cu Lao Cau is located in Tuy Phong District, about 110 km away from Phan Thiet city. Cu Lao Cau is a popular destination for visitors thanks to its smooth sandy beach, blue water, and impressive rocks. No one resides on Cu Lao Cau island as electricity and sweet water are not available. Coming there, visitors contemplate the beauty of real nature.

 

 

 

 

3. Mui Ne (Mũi Né) Fishing village

 

Located in Huynh Thuc Khang Street of Phan Thiet, Mui Ne fishing village has a fascinating charm. Mui Ne fishing village is about 3km north of Mui Ne Town. Right at the entrance of the village, you could witness hundreds of fishing boats with different colors moored on the water. 4. Phu Quy (Phú Quý) Island

 

Phu Quy island is far about 100km from Phan Thiet city. This is an ideal destination for visitors to enjoy the beautiful sea and learn about sea-based aquaculture. 5. Ke Ga ( Kê Gà) Cape

 

Ke Ga Cape is located in Ham Thuan Nam district, far about 30 km from Phan Thiet city. Ke Ga beach is quite pristine with bizarre rocks, the ancient lighthouse. Ke Ga cape’s special feature is the unique rocks that jut out to the sea in various shapes. This is called ” rock garden ” make this place very unique and special. Ke Ga Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in Southeast Asia. It was built by the French in 1897, is the attraction of many visitors all over the world

 

 

 

6. Co Thach (Cổ Thạch) Beach

 

Co Thach beach belongs to Binh Thanh commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. It is far about 100km from Phan Thiet city. Like beaches in Binh Thuan, Co Thach is a beautiful beach with gorgeous landscape. However, this beach is famous for many seven-colored stones on the beach. The stones of different sizes and different colors are a push from the sea to the shore.

 

 

7. White Sand Dune (Bàu Trắng)

 

White sand dune is located in Hong Lam (Hồng Lâm) village, Hoa Thang (Hòa Thắng) commune, Bac Binh (Bắc Bình) district and about 18km away from Rom ( Rơm) island. There is a natural freshwater lake located between the vast white sand dunes. White sand dune also has the other name of Bau Ong (Bàu Ông). Coming here in the summer, you will be able to contemplate the blooming lotus flowers interspersed between white sand dunes.

 

 

 

8. Fairy Stream (Suối Tiên)

 

Being called Fairy Stream because this place is unique and dramatic beauty of reds-whites-oranges. Fairy Stream is a small stream near Hon Rom and behind the sand dune in Mui Ne Ward. With clear water flowing from Ham Tien’s Dinh Mountain, one side of Fairy Stream features a mix of white and red sand dunes while the other is an expansive field of verdant trees, blossoming flowers, and coconut palms. Fairy Stream is considered as “a paradise” by visitors because naturally eccentric shapes and colors of stones lying beside the stream.

 

 

 

9. Mui Ne Sand Dune

 

Sand Dunes in Mui Ne, stretching from Binh Thuan province to Ninh Thuan province is an attractive tourist destination that nature gave to Binh Thuan. It is also called Fly Sand Hill because the shape of ‘small desert ’ is constantly changing because of many impacts, mainly the wind. This makes Sand Dunes in Mui Ne are special and attractive.

 

 

 

 

10. Yen Cape ( Mui Yen)

 

Mui Yen ( Mũi Yến) is a relatively new destination in Binh Thuan to even visitors or both locals not known. The road to Mui Yen quite difficult due to constant line up downhill, plus sand, crushed stone boulders so it’s easy to fall if not careful. In return, the beautiful surroundings unmatched. With the vast sand dunes stretching endless, you imagine you’re lost in the desert regions distant west.

 

 

 

11. Ta Cu (Tà Cú) Mountain

 

Ta Cu Mountain is located near the National Highway 1A, in the town of Thuan Nam ( Thuận Nam) , about 30km from Phan Thiet to the south. On top of the mountain, there are two famous temples, which are Linh Son Truong Tho (Linh Sơn Trường Thọ) and Long Doan (Long Đoàn) Pagoda. Here, the most famous is the statue of Sakyamuni with the lying posture and 49 meters of length. This is the biggest lying Buddha statue in Southeast Asia.

 

 

 

 

12. Ong Dia (Ông Địa) Rock

 

Ong Dia rock beach (or “Bai da Ong Dia”) is located about 10 kilometers from the center of Phan Thiet city. As a beautiful sight, this place attracts a lot of people everyday. Locals and tourists consider Ong Dia rock beach as an ideal place for sightseeing, taking photos, swimming, kite surfing, sitting with friends and their loved ones, or just doing nothing and enjoying their free time .
