This morning, we explore the charm of Yangon city starting from Sule pagoda to Colonial buildings including City Hall, Emmanuel church.Then you will have lunch a local teashop to enjoy Burmese tea and its traditional culture. You will visit to a popular tea shop which has a variety of Burmese traditional snacks and noodles. We’ll have tea and an assortment of snacks and noodles. Some of the famous dishes are: Mont Pyar Tha Let (rice pancake), Mont Leit Pyar (wanton-like parcels of bean and jaggery), Shwe Htamin (Golden sticky rice), Mohingar (rice noodle with fish soup- Myanmar’s ‘national’ dish) and Own Noe Khauk Swe (yellow noodle with chicken and coconut soup).

This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to the ancient capital of Bagan, one of Asia’s most extraordinary destinations. Head into the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market, the economic center of Bagan. At this bustling market, locals meet daily to buy and sell a variety of goods, from fruit and vegetables to clothing, china, and lacquerware. Our guide will show you different kinds of herbs and vegetables which are used for Burmese cooking.
Next, we’ll visit a Pone Yay Gyi shop, Bagan’s most famous food treat and you continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda, Bagan’s greatest reliquary, built to house relics of the Buddha brought from abroad. Lunch at La Min Thit Burmese restaurant. Next, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple, renowned for its ancient murals. Take a horse-cart ride to Ananda Temple, home to four great, gilded Buddha statues.

Spend your full day exploring the remainder of Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples and pagodas. This archaeological site brings us to the scared history of ancient Bagan capital with the development of Buddhism.

After morning breakfast, you will board the flight to Mandalay in the morning. Start your sightseeing today with a boat ride upstream to Mingun, home to Uncomplete Wall, Sandamuni pagoda and Mingun ringing bell. Our local expert will be pleased to introduce you the life of people who live on the banks of Irrawaddy River.

Our guide meets you at your hotel and transfer you to a local market with a shopping list prepared by our chef. Spend time exploring the stalls where fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and meats are for sale as well as chilies, pastes and other sauces used in local cuisine. Your guide will explain the various ingredients and help you pick out the plumpest chicken, freshest fish and finest vegetables to use in your cooking class.
Return to the local restaurant where you will meet the local chef. A cooking area is set-up for the class. Along with the chef, prepare the ingredients and use traditional techniques (such as mortar and pestle) to cook several Burmese favorites. During the demonstration, you will also learn more about the cuisine of Myanmar, its influences and the typical eating habits of the local people.After having prepared the dishes it’s time to sit down and enjoy a feast of freshly prepared delights. Embarking on a flight to Heho, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Nyang Shwe.Start with a visit to the Nyaung Shwe morning market where locals gather every morning to buy and sell fresh produce from the lake and its surroundings.Then you will embark on a beautiful boat trip to explore the life of Intha people whose image exposes vividly through one leg rower. Proceed to a traditional Inthar House at Tharlay village where you will spend time preparing the dishes with the family.

Visit one of the most unique market on Inle lake which happens 5 days in different villages in Inlay area.From the market, we continue by boat to Khaung Daing village on the northwest coast of the lake. This village is famous for its traditional Shan tofu - fried tofu crackers and folded, triangular tofu treats. We’ll be able to watch (and perhaps participate!) as they sift the soy beans, boil them, mash them into balls then form tofu cakes to dry in the sun. This is a fabulous taste of local life on Inle Lake.
