Day 1: Hanoi Arrival- Duong Lam Village- the Quintessence of Tokin Show

Meals:  Lunch. Dinner

Welcomed at Airport by local tour guides and transfer to the city centre for Vietnam cultural day trip
Vietnamese ancient culture:
➢  Museum of Ethnology: The museum is packed full of information detailing traditional Vietnamese ways of 
life, from religious events to the symbolic rituals of all the Vietnamese ethnic groups, providing a rich 
tapestry of the culture melting pot existing in Vietnam
Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple: The island on which the temple is built is known as Jade Island and is 
accessible by the iconic Huc Bridge or Rising Sun Bridge which is a charming scarlet -painted wooden 
bridge of classical Vietnamese design.
Lunch at local restaurant with Vietnamese Pho (noodle).
A taste of ancient and old time in Duong Lam village 60km located on the west of Hanoi capital, Duong Lam is a typical ancient village famous for its well -preserved ancient houses as well as the ancient village's  characteristic symbols in the Red River Delta that you can't find anywhere. 
➢  You will have chances to learn about the village's cultural values in Vietnam by visiting ancient long 
houses, the village's communal house, its water well, temples & pagoda; and  interact with friendly locals. 
Visit some UNESCO Conservation Heritage: Duong Lam Ancient Gate, Mong Phu Communal House and 
400-year-old houses (national heritages)
➢  Visit traditional local product factoris:   Doi candy (Keo Doi), peanut candy (Keo Lac), sesame candy (Keo 
Vung) or Che Lam are the famous specialties.
Have dinner with local food.
Then move to Thay Pagoda area to be impressived by The Quintessence of Tonkin show 
This  is an outdoor spectacle that reaffirms Hanoi's position  as the cultural capital of Vietnam. Showcasing 
traditional elements of Vietnamese culture in a contemporary and innovative way, the Quintessence of Tonkin 
delivers audiences a unique and memorable exploration of the Red  River Delta —  the beating heart  of northern 
Vietnam.
Drawing on the daily life and activities of the locals of the northern delta, the audience witnesses the story of 
monk Tu Dao Hanh and his journey to Thang Long Royal Palace. Additionally, the story showcases  the talents of 
the Vietnamese  people who  excel in knowledge and martial arts. A traditional village is  the setting, traditional 
instruments, and vocal arts including “ca trù”, “Quan họ”, “chầu văn”.  Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi- Bai Dinh- Trang An

 Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Bai  Dinh Pagoda:  Bái đính Pagoda Spiritual and Cultural Complex is a complex of Buddhist temple  on Dinh 
mountain in Gia viễn District, Ninh bình province. The compound consists of the original old pagoda and newly 
created larger pagoda. It is considered the largest complex   of Buddhist pagoda in Việt Nam and has become a 
popular site for Buddhist pilgrimages from across Việt Nam
Lunch with local specialities: Com Chay (Crispy rice), goat meat
Trang An  –  A World Cultural and Natural Heritage:  Trang An is a prominent place in Southeast Asia and the 
world which contains abundant archaeological evidence preserved almost intact, mostly shells, animal bones, 
pottery, stone tools, kitchen floor and human remains. This is an extremely valuable documentary treasure 
demonstrating the way that prehistoric human interacted with the natural landscape a nd adapted to  major 
changes in the environment over more than 30,000 years, at least since the late Ice Age

Day 3:Hanoi City Tour- Halong City

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

French culture: 
➢  Ho Chi Minh  complex, President Palace  constructed in 1900 by French architect Auguste Henri Vildieu, 
was intended to be Ho Chi Minh’s official residence but the Vietnamese leader had  opted for a traditional 
Vietnamese stilt-house instead
➢  Hanoi  Opera house:  completed in 1911 after 10 years of construction, by two French architects,   Broyer 
and V. Harley, resembling the Opéra Garnier de Paris.
➢  Trishaw  tour  or  Electric car tour  around the Old Quarter of  Hanoi  with ancient houses &  discover local 
residents’ life
Vietnamese cuisine culture (OPTIONAL):
➢  Join in cooking class:  DIY  Spring roll (nem cuon), Pho (rice noodle in broth)
Transfer to Halong Bay (the journey takes 3.5 hours)
Water puppet show in Ha Lomg city – is a tradition that dates back as far as the 11th century when it originated 
in the villages of the Red River Delta area of northern Vietnam. Today's Vietnamese water puppetry is a unique 
variation on the ancient Asian puppet tradition.
Overnight in Halong.
 

Day 4:Halong Bay- Hanoi

Morning,  take a boat  trip  to visit  Halong bay, Thien Cung  grotto,  Wooden caves –  Embark for a memorable boat in the heart of the mythical Halong Bay. T ranslated as the "Bay of Descending Dragons", the legend says that 
dragons came to protect the people against the  invaders and created the stunning limestone rocks rising from 
the  sea. Set off on the adventure of a lifetime, sailing through the wonderful r ocky islands and natural caves of 
this breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This  evening, you  will  have dinner at  Kitchen Roll restaurant  where you  will  find all most typical cuisine  of 
Vietnam.

Day 5: Departure

Meals: Breakfast

Breakfast at hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport for flight back home
